Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates will launch their new away kit when they face Al-Taawoun in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup. The Knights of Najd are set to face their Saudi rivals for a place in the final of the Super Cup before the start of the season.
Al-Nassr endured a season (2023-24) without any major honors largely due to the brilliance of their league rivals Al-Hilal. Al-Hilal ended the season with a brilliant record, winning the league without losing a single game. They also defeated Al-Nassr in the cup final.
Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the Al-Nassr team will have their sights set on glory, but first, they have to get past Al-Taawoun. They will do so sporting a fresh look, as has been reported by club sources on X.
Ronaldo will wear the new blue away kit produced by Adidas after the club reached an agreement with the sportswear giants. The home kit for the 2024-25 season has been released, but Al-Nassr will put on a brand-new away kit for the semi-final.
Luis Castro's side toured Europe in pre-season, albeit without Cristiano Ronaldo and Anderson Talisca, and failed to win a single game. With their influential captain granted an extended summer break following Euro 2024 and Talisca missing through injury, the side looked poor in attack. They scored just once, against Portuguese fourth division side Louletano in a 1-1 draw.
Al-Nassr were stopped by Al-Hilal in the semi-finals of the competition last summer, with the champions set to face Al-Ahli in this season's other semi-final.

Saudi journalist Turki Abu Aisha revealed that Al-Nassr were considering a swap deal with Al-Ittihad to have Luiz Felipe move in the other direction. The deal would see Mane join Al-Ittihad on an initial loan move, with his salary being covered by his parent club.
Mane managed 13 goals and eight assists in 32 league appearances for Al-Nassr playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Talisca in attack. Al-Ittihad are building a quality side to try and challenge for honors, and adding the quality of Mane would further strengthen their squad.
