Domino's Pizza hilariously mock Manchester United star Antony after his bold claims

After Manchester United star Antony detailed his objectives for the 2024-25 season in an interview, Domino's Pizza took a dig at the Brazilian in a social media post.

Ahead of the Red Devils' FA Community Shield loss to Manchester City earlier this Saturday (August 10), Antony claimed that he is focused on improving his displays. He told the Daily Mail:

"I have a lot of objectives, ones I write down for myself and many for this new season. I haven't been doing this for that long, but I'm doing it a lot more for this season. I have to do it for every game. Always on paper, in my house. I usually take the notes with me but if I leave them at home, I'll always ask my wife [Rosilene Silva] to send me a photo of them."

Antony, who left Ajax in a potential £86 million deal in 2022, concluded:

"There are a lot of things I note down in detail: how many shots I should be making in a game, I can't lose the ball, I need to score goals and create assists, pass and dribble completions as well as defensive performance, more work on the right foot. I have a lot of objectives. Rest assured, you'll hear the name Antony in relation to goals and assists."

However, Domino's Pizza decided to engage in banter, posting on X:

"Wouldn’t trust him to deliver a pizza."

Antony, 24, has failed to live up to his exorbitant price tag at the Old Trafford outfit so far. He has scored just 11 goals and registered five assists in 82 games across all competitions for Erik ten Hag's side.

In comparison, the Manchester United star netted 24 goals and laid out 22 assists in 82 overall appearances for Ajax between 2020 and 2022.

Manchester United defender set to undergo medical soon ahead of transfer to new club

According to acclaimed transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in London ahead of his medical at West Ham United. He will sign a deal until 2029 at the Hammers.

Wan-Bissaka, who is allegedly set to complete a £15 million transfer to West Ham, has helped Manchester United lift two trophies. He has recorded two goals and 13 assists in 190 games for his club so far.

Should the 26-year-old pass his medical at West Ham, he would pop up as a vital starter for them ahead of Vladimir Coufal at right-back.
