England stars annoyed by Jude Bellingham Adidas advertisement for Euro 2024; Real Madrid ace doesn’t share good connections with teammates: Reports

The Athletic reports that Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham does not enjoy good relationships with his England teammates because of Adidas' Euro 2024 video. The video, titled 'Hey Jude', seemed to portray the midfielder as the most influential man on the pitch, which goes against the egalitarian ethos established in the team.

The report suggests some in the Three Lions team are not deeply connected to the Los Blancos star, with Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold his only close relationship. This could be because the Real Madrid star left the country as a 17-year-old to join Borussia Dortmund and has only linked up with his countrymen on international duty.

Jude Bellingham is considered one of the best players in the world following his performances for Los Blancos last season and is a front-runner for the Ballon d'Or.

The 21-year-old midfielder hopes he and his compatriots can learn from their second consecutive Euros final defeat and eventually lead his nation to glory. He played in every game for England at Euro 2024, scoring twice and providing one assist in seven games.

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham urges England to build on Euro 2024 heartbreak

Jude Bellingham has urged his countrymen to push through and end their 58-year wait for a trophy. England have failed to win a tournament since the 1966 World Cup held on home soil despite fielding some of the best players in the world since then.

Speaking to the press after the Euro 2024 final loss to Spain, Bellingham said (via Goal):

"We sacrificed a lot throughout the last week, it's so tough these days with the crazy schedules and then coming together for the end of the season, for one last tournament, it's difficult on the body. Mentally, and physically you are exhausted but for our country, we wanted to give everything and then to lose in that way is really cruel."
"Again, we probably didn't play our best game but there were definitely some good moments. We felt like we got back into the game and then to kind of be sucker-punched with the late goal. It's heartbreaking. We all wanted nothing more than to make history and to make the people of England proud and we haven't managed to do it. We didn't quite deliver. There are reasons for that. I'm sure as a team and going forward we will analyze it."

The Real Madrid star concluded, saying:

"But yeah, I think, it's still a young group. It's really disappointing because at some point we do have to deliver. But there are experiences and there are things from this tournament going forward. I suppose if you look at everything negatively, nothing will ever change. It's important we pick the positives and the negatives together and find a way to one day get England over the line."

Jude Bellingham will return to Real Madrid following England's heartbreak at Euro 2024. The midfielder will hope to repeat his feats from a fabulous debut season that saw him score 23 and assist 13 en route to winning La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
