“Haaland trembles that Cucurella is coming” - Chelsea defender’s song during party after Spain win Euro 2024 goes viral
Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella's celebratory song after Spain's Euro 2024 win this weekend has gone viral. The Spanish defender has been videotaped singing and dancing during the national team's celebrations.
La Roja had an incredible campaign at the 2024 European Championships, with Cucurella playing a key role in their triumph. Luis de la Fuente's side won every single fixture of the tournament held in Germany.
Spain topped Group B after beating Italy, Croatia, and Albania. They secured victories over Georgia, hosts Germany, and France in the knockout stages before reaching the final.
La Roja defeated England 2-1 in the Euro 2024 final held in Berlin courtesy of goals from Nico Williams and Mikel Oyarzabal. Cole Palmer managed to pull one back for the Three Lions but to no avail as Spain became European champions on Sunday (14 July).
Cucurella started every one of Spain's fixtures at the tournament except their group-stage game against Albania, for which he was benched. During the final, the Chelsea defender produced an excellent assist to set up Oyarzabal's match-winner.
A video of Spain's celebrations has surfaced on social media, with Cucurella taking center stage. The Chelsea left-back was seen dancing on top of a table and singing a song that involved Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland.
He sang:
“Cucurella eats a paella, Cucurella drinks Estrella, Haaland trembles that Cucurella is coming.”

"We went all the way Gary" - Chelsea star Marc Cucurella hits back at Gary Neville after Spain's Euro 2024 victory
Marc Cucurella has hit back at Gary Neville for his comments prior to the Euro 2024 after Spain's emphatic victory over England.
Cucurella made his first appearance at a major tournament for Spain this year at the Euro 2024. The 25-year-old left-back has received some criticism for his performances at Chelsea and Neville had his doubts before the tournament.
The pundit questioned whether Spain could become European champions with Cucurella starting at left-back. He said (via GOAL):
"We didn't think he'd play. He's not been convincing at Chelsea. There's something just missing from Spain that makes you feel like they are [aren't] going to go all the way and I have to say, him (Cucurella) being at left-back is another example of why we think that."
However, the Chelsea full-back certainly proved him wrong, providing the winning assist in the final, and he has now given his response. He posted a story on his Instagram with a caption that read:
“We went all the way, Gary. Thanks for your support”.
