Harry Kane ranks top ‘legendary strikers’ between Didier Drogba, Thierry Henry, Ronaldo and ex-Manchester United man Wayne Rooney

Bayern Munich frontman Harry Kane has ranked legendary strikers like Real Madrid's Ronaldo Nazario, Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Didier Drogba, and Thierry Henry. The Englishman joined the Bavarian outfit in 2023 after spending two decades at Tottenham Hotspur.

In his first season, he registered 44 goals and 12 assists in 45 games for the German giants across competitions. Kane has already scored 10 goals and six assists in nine games this season across competitions, registering one goal contribution every 44 minutes.

In an interview with GOAL (via @centregoals on X), the English marksman ranked five "legendary strikers" based on a blind test. Here is how the interaction went:

"R9 [Ronaldo Nazario]."
"One," said Kane.
"[Thierry] Henry."
"I'm going to go three," he added.
"[Wayne] Rooney"
"Four," Kane replied.
"[Didier] Drogba"
"Five."
"[Zlatan] Ibrahimovic."
"Two," he concluded.

Thereafter, Kane was given the chance to swap two players to come up with a final ranking. The Englishman chose to switch the positions of Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Therefore, R9 took the first spot, followed by Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and Chelsea frontman Didier Drogba took up the final two spots respectively.

Manchester United legend David Beckham once lavished praise on Ronaldo Nazario, picking him as the frontman for his dream five-a-side team. The current Inter Miami co-owner played 390 games for Manchester United, scoring 85 goals and creating 121 more.

At his peak, he was known for his pin-point ball distribution and curling free-kicks. The Englishman was part of a legendary Manchester United side that won the treble in 1998-99 under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson. He also won six Premier League titles, two English FA Cups, and four English Super Cups with the Red Devils.

In an interview on Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Beckham chose the best five-a-side team among players he's played with. He chose Ronaldo Nazario as the striker for his team.

"The next one would have to be one of the greatest and most natural goal scorers that I have ever, ever seen, Ronaldo (R9). I think when you watch Ronnie play back in the day, I mean, he's electrifying on every level," he raved.

The two were part of the famous Galacticos era of Real Madrid, playing 104 games and recording 11 joint goal participations. The Brazilian played 177 games for Los Blancos, registering 103 goals and 34 assists.

The other four players who completed Beckham's side were Zinedine Zidane, Roy Keane, Roberto Carlos, and Paolo Maldini.
