"He is the best player I've met" - Portugal star urges Kylian Mbappe leave PSG and join him at his club

AC Milan attacker Rafel Leao recently urged Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) ace Kylian Mbappe to leave the French club and join the Rossoneri.

Milan have reached the UEFA Champions League semifinals where they play city rivals Inter in the last four clash. Leao wants to strengthen his team further as he wants Mbappe as his teammate in the near future. The Portuguese winger recently said (via RMC Sport):

"He's the best player I've met. He's already a fan of the Rossoneri; he should come to Milan!"

Kylian Mbappe has previously expressed his admiration for the Serie A giants, who are one of the most historical clubs in European football. The PSG superstar said:

"If I come, it's only AC Milan. When I was a child, I had an Italian nanny, and I spent a lot of time with her family. They are all Milan supporters. So, thanks to them, I also cheered on the Rossoneri and watched a lot of Milan games."

Mbappe's contract with the Parisians runs out at the end of the 2023-24 season. The player has the option to extend the deal for another year. Whether he leaves the French club anytime soon remains to be seen, though.

Kylian Mbappe scores in PSG's win over Troyes

PSG bounced back from their 3-1 loss at Lorient last weekend by beating Troyes 3-1 in Ligue 1 at the weekend, with Kylian Mbappe scoring the opener.

Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz were the other goalscorers for the Parisians. Lionel Messi was suspended for the game due to his 'unauthorised' Saudi Arabia trip, meaning Mbappe had the responsibility to shoulder the team's attack.

The Frenchman, as he has done on numerous occasions in his career, rose to the occasion and gave his team the lead with only eight minutes. The Parisians extended their lead on RC Lens atop the Ligue 1 table to six points. Christophe Galtier's team have 78 points from 34 games.
