"He plays without fear" - Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas heaps praise on Manchester United star 

Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has praised Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo for his performances this season.

The Englishman has been a breath of fresh air in the Red Devil's midfield, showing calm, poise, and composure beyond his years. While Manchester United have generally been poor this term, Mainoo in his breakout season has looked phenomenal.

Just 18, he looks set to be the center of the Red Devils' efforts to rebuild in the coming years. The youngster's bravery and composure on and off the ball have won him many admirers within and outside the Red Devils fanbase.

Fabregas, a former smooth operator in the Premier League, is one such admirer. The former Chelsea midfielder shared his admiration for the Carrington graduate's abilities in a recent interview with the BBC.

The Spanish World Cup winner said of Mainoo:

“He plays without fear, and this is what I love about him. He just wants the ball, wants to make things happen. I always talk about the attitude and the personality; this is what makes a really, really good player in the difficult moments and he’s showing that."

Manchester United will hope they can keep the youngster at the club in the years to come and properly manage his immense talent. The Englishman will be focused on helping his side secure a place at Wembley for the FA Cup final when they face Coventry in the semi-final on Sunday (April 21).
