"He's just a monster, an absolute phenomenon" - Pundit believes current version of Cristiano Ronaldo has ability to score 20 goals in Premier League

Former Manchester United forward Andy Cole has stated that Cristiano Ronaldo will be able to score 20 goals in the Premier League. He believes that the current version of the Portuguese superstar is still capable of delivering on the big stage.

Speaking to CardPlayer (via GOAL), Cole claimed that Ronaldo still has an unbelievable work rate and he still admires the Al Nassr striker. He added that the Portuguese superstar is a monster and has the quality to score 20 goals in the Premier League despite being 39, saying:

"Cristiano Ronaldo is so special. He has an unbelievable work rate, attitude, everything is just absolutely phenomenal. I have nothing but admiration for him. I really do, Any young kid who is aspiring to be a professional football player shouldn't look any further than him. Please don't look any further than him because he is everything young kids should be aspiring to get to the top."
"That level of work rate, consistency and wanting to improve season on season. He is the ultimate professional and if kids don't want to be like him as a footballer then they should retire already. Would he still score 20 goals in the Premier League? Definitely. He'll always score goals because he has that quality. He's just a monster, an absolute phenomenon."

Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United in 2022 after his contract was terminated following a fallout with former manager Erik ten Hag and the club hierarchy. The former Real Madrid star spoke about the state of the club to British broadcaster Piers Morgan in an explosive interview before the club decided to part ways with the forward.

Cristiano Ronaldo backed to make Manchester United return

Former United forward Louis Saha spoke to TV Sporten earlier this year and backed Cristiano Ronaldo to make a return to Manchester United. He believes that the second spell did not end well but the forward could be a coach or a manager at Old Trafford in soon.

Saha said:

"Cristiano Ronaldo has the passion and dedication to return to Manchester United one day, that could be as a coach or even a manager. His second spell didn’t end how everyone had hoped and you can see why that frustrated him, he didn’t see the same formula and didn’t see the passion from young players that he had been used to seeing."
"Now he will know that he needs to find a new way to communicate when he becomes a coach, which maybe isn’t as harsh or direct as it was when he was at the club."

Ronaldo, however, has admitted that Al Nassr will probably be the final club he plays for as he prepares for retirement.
