“He’s ruining our beautiful club”, “Playing against Madrid” - Fans claim superstar ‘doesn’t belong’ at Real Madrid despite 4-0 win vs Osasuna
Real Madrid fans lamented another poor performance from Kylian Mbappe in the 4-0 win over Osasuna on Saturday, November 9, at the Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos secured all three points thanks to a Vinicius Junior hattrick and a Jude Bellingham strike.
However, one of the talking points of the game was Kylian Mbappe's failure to find the back of the net once again. The French superstar registered five shots, two key passes, and six dribbles, but couldn't get on the scoresheet.
Fans were least pleased with Kylian Mbappe's efforts on the pitch and took to social media to express their opinion. One posted:
"Mbappe watching Vinicius score all the goals for Real Madrid from the left wing like;"
Another stated:
"Mbappe these days"
Another pointed out that Mbappe had scored just one goal in his last seven games:
"Mbappé leaves the pitch, just 1 goal in his last 7 games."
One fan urged Real Madrid to offload the 25-year-old, posting:
"Mbappe is the worst signing in football history, and he can’t even perform in ”everybody eats” games. Can’t beat his man. Can’t even score without penalties. Can’t stay onside. SELL HIM, HE’S RUINING OUR BEAUTIFUL CLUB."
Another stated:
"He’s finished, can’t even score the weakest team in Spain"
One fan advised Mbappe to train harder, commenting:
"Take a rest bro, go on a hike or do more training because you are playing against Madrid rn"
Another quipped:
"This guys needs to leave the team , he doesn’t belong there"
One stated that Mbappe has lost his ability to play football, adding:
"Footballs left him at 25 this is crazy"
Another insisted that Mbappe should no longer wear the No. 9 shirt at the Santiago Bernabeu, stating:
"He should dump that number 9"
Real Madrid are second in the LaLiga table after 12 games, six points behind leaders Barcelona.
How many goals has Kylian Mbappe scored for Real Madrid?
Kylian Mbappe joined Real Madrid this summer as a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Los Blancos had previously tried to sign him on two occasions without success.
However, lady luck was on the LaLiga champions' side this year. The French superstar enjoyed a fantastic start to life with Real Madrid, scoring in his debut to win the UEFA Super Cup. However, things haven't gone according to plans since.
Mbappe has still managed eight goals and two assists from 15 games across competitions. However, his last goal for Los Blancos was against Celta Vigo in mid-October. With Vinicius Junior the preferred option on the left wing, the Frenchman has had to operate as a No. 9 for the LaLiga champions so far.
