Barcelona star Lamine Yamal offered a hilarious response when asked about his extraordinary assist against Mallorca on Tuesday night (December 3). The Spanish wonderkid's comments have left fans in splits.
Blaugrana thrashed Mallorca 5-1 in their mid-week LaLiga encounter, with Yamal producing an excellent performance. Ferran Torres opened the scoring in the 12th minute to put Hansi Flick's side 1-0 up at the break.
Yamal then won a penalty for Barcelona in the second period, which Raphinha converted, before completing his brace in the 74th minute. Yamal swung in an exquisite ball with the outside of his left foot and the Brazilian forward found the back of the net.
Frenkie de Jong and Pau Victor got their names on the scoresheet as well before the full-time whistle as Barcelona secured all three points. Speaking after the game to reporters, Yamal was asked about his trivela pass.
The 17-year-old winger said (via Fabrizio Romano on X):
“The pass with the outside of my foot? Just press L2, I guess!”
