“I always put you in my team in FIFA” - Endrick makes hilarious claim after meeting Real Madrid legend

Endrick recently told Roberto Carlos that he always picked the Real Madrid legend in his Ultimate Team on FIFA (now known as EA FC). The new signing was in training with Los Blancos when the 51-year-old Brazilian left-back dropped by.

In a video released by Real Madrid, Endrick can be seen talking to Carlos about his video game. The 18-year-old was quoted by Madrid Xtra as saying:

"I always put you in my team in FIFA."

However, during an interview with Marca in 2023, Endrick did not name-drop Carlos while speaking about the Brazilian players in Real Madrid's history. Talking about his connection with the club, the youngster said:

"Real Madrid are a team I love. I grew up watching Madrid idols, and I went looking for more of the history. My name was not going to be Endrick, it was going to be Di Stefano. But my mother refused. I also looked up to the Brazilians who have played there, like Ronaldo Nazario, Vinicius now, Rodrygo, Eder Militao. As I saw my idols playing there, as I saw the history of Madrid, I became even more interested."

Endrick joined Los Blancos for a reported €60 million and will be making it to the first-team squad this summer. He had interest from Chelsea, but the Brazilian opted to join the Spanish side.

Endrick reveals Real Madrid dream at his unveiling

Enrick was unveiled to the fans at Santiago Bernabeu earlier this month and he was delighted to be in front of them. He spoke about his dream to play for the club and said (via SPORTbible):

"This is crazy. I am so happy, since I was a kid, I have always been a Madrid fan and now I am going to play for Madrid. I am here, I am going to play, I am so happy, my family are as well. I don't have words to describe what I am feeling. I always wanted to be here. I wanted to play for Madrid. It was a dream. Today, it is a reality."

Endrick could make his debut for the club this week when Los Blancos take on AC Milan on Wednesday (July 31).
