"I have had enough man", "How is he starting again" - Arsenal fans unhappy with star's inclusion in XI for UCL clash against Inter

Fans on social media expressed disappointment with Leandro Trossard being named in Arsenal's starting XI against Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League. The match is currently ongoing at the San Siro.

The Belgian left-winger has not been very impressive so far this season. In Arsenal's last Premier League clash against Newcastle United, which ended in a 1-0 loss for the Gunners, Trossard played for 71 minutes, taking 37 touches while having no shots on target or key passes.

Leandro Trossard has scored two goals and provided one assist in 13 appearances across competitions so far this season.

Fans flooded social media with posts about Leandro Trossard's inclusion in Arsenal's starting line-up against Inter Milan. Here are some of their reactions on X:

"TROSSARD STARTING STINKER AFTER STINKER I HAVE HAD ENOUGH MAN."

Another added:

"HOW IS TROSSARD STARTING AGAIN LOOOOOL."
"Ffs why is Trossard still starting," another fan wrote.

One account posted:

"Trossard at 8 again. Naah man I'm not doing this shit this night."

Another tweeted:

"Trossard our big game player should play from the bench."
"Please stop starting Trossard," posted another.

One user wrote:

"Starting Trossard for another disastrous performance is adding more hatred for him than helping the team win, he has been so consistent with his poor performance. Should have been bold enough to throw in Nwaneri and surround him with these experienced players"

While another wrote:

"Good team. Need to drop Trossard though."

Leandro Trossard, who arrived at the Emirates from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023, has recorded 20 goals and 13 assists in 81 appearances across competitions for Arsenal.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta provides fitness update on Declan Rice

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta provided a fitness update on defensive midfielder Declan Rice ahead of their upcoming fixture against Chelsea on November 10, at Stamford Bridge. The 25-year-old has featured in every Premier League game this season except for the Gunners' win against Tottenham Hotspur due to suspension.

While Declan Rice played the full match against Newcastle United on November 2, the Englishman is not available for the Gunners' Champions League clash against Inter Milan as a precautionary measure.

In a pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta stated that Rice suffered a knock against Newcastle and would not be able to make the trip to Milan. The Spanish manager also mentioned the possibility of the midfielder missing their upcoming clash against Chelsea in the Premier League. Arteta said (via Now Arsenal):

"Declan Rice unfortunately picked up an injury against Newcastle. He was able to finish the game but hasn't been feeling well over the past few days. We'll assess him on Thursday and see if he's ready for Chelsea. It was a knock so it's a problem with his foot. He wasn't comfortable with it so at the moment he's not fit."

Declan Rice has recorded one goal and two assists in 13 matches across competitions for the Gunners so far this season.
