"I can't say anything about that" - Liverpool and Chelsea-linked Karim Adeyemi breaks silence on leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer

Liverpool and Chelsea-linked winger Karim Adeyemi has opened up on his future at Borussia Dortmund. The 22-year-old is an exciting prospect with three years left on his current deal at Signal Iduna Park.

However, according to The Echo, there doesn't seem to be a possibility of completing a deal for the former Germany under-21 international now. Although the attacker maintained he was happy at Dortmund, he seemed to leave the door to an exit open while speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten (via The Echo):

"I can't say anything about that. I'm wearing a Dortmund shirt, and I'm very happy to be wearing a Dortmund shirt. There are no guarantees in life."

The Reds are seemingly searching for a new winger, with Luis Diaz being linked with a move away from Anfield. Mohamed Salah, who only has a year left on his contract, may also be sold in the summer to disallow the player from walking away for free next summer.

As a result, the Merseysiders have narrowed down on Adeyemi, who would do well to decide on a move to Liverpool. The Reds have Champions League football to offer next season and finished third in the Premier League last year.

With wide players seeming to be an issue at Anfield, the youngster could lock down a spot on either flank. To date, he's made 66 appearances across competitions for his current employers, bagging 14 goals and eight assists.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have been credited with interest in Liverpool attacker Luis Diaz. The Colombia international is seen as an important component at Anfield, and it is claimed that the Red wish to keep hold of their winger (via The Echo).

As a result, a deal for the 27-year-old will cost about £75 million. Although the Blaugrana's poor financial situation is well documented, the Catalans have reportedly made it their priority to complete Diaz's signing this window.

Meanwhile, PSG are looking to bring in a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid a few weeks ago. Diaz is still among the favorites to start for Liverpool on the left flank, and it seems unlikely that he would want to switch clubs.

To date, he's made 98 appearances across competitions for the Reds, bagging 24 goals and 13 assists.
