“I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having scored 43 goals” - When Fabregas hit back at fan saying he just sat on the bench at Barcelona

Cesc Fabregas once provided an emphatic response when a fan criticized him for playing a minimal role during his time at Barcelona.

Fabregas came through Barcelona's youth academy, La Masia, and left at the age of 16 to sign for Arsenal. The former midfielder established his place in the first team under Arsene Wenger and went on to become a marquee player for the Gunners.

The now-retired midfielder registered 151 appearances during his time at the Nou Camp, scoring 42 goals and providing 50 assists. While many consider him one of the best midfielders of the generation and an icon of the sport, one fan mocked Fabregas about his playing time at Barcelona.

The fan claimed that the former Chelsea star spent most of his time on the bench while playing in Spain. Fabregas hit back at his critic, detailing how much he contributed to the Blaugrana (via ESPN).

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"I started in 121 games out of the 151 I played... I won 6 titles, I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having played 36 games, 43 goals and 47 assists... but yeah, cool."
