"I wish them all the best" - Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe responds when asked about issue with PSG over unpaid salary

Kylian Mbappe refused to comment on the unpaid wages issue with PSG. The Frenchman claimed he has nothing but positive things to say about his former club.

Speaking to the media as he prepared to play for the national team, Mbappe was quizzed about his unpaid wages by PSG. He dodged the question and claimed there were only positive things to talk about the club. He said:

"Issues with PSG on salary? I've only positive things to say about PSG, I wish them all the best."

As per reports by GOAL, PSG blocked €80 million in wages to Kylian Mbappe as he was leaving the club on a free transfer. They did not want to see the Frenchman leave for free, but he refused to pen a new deal and moved to Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappe's mother commented on the PSG unpaid wages earlier this year

Kylian Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari, spoke to Le Parisien earlier this year and claimed that the issue was still going on with PSG. She said:

"It's still going on. It's now in the hands of Kylian's representatives. But I trust PSG that things will get back to normal very quickly. We just received a response letter from them. Decisions will be made. Sometimes, during separations, you have to decide who gets the TV, keeps the furniture or the car... That's where we are. I hope that all this won't tarnish everything we've experienced."

When pressed if Kylian Mbappe and his representatives will be taking the club to court, she said:

"If we have no choice, yes, of course. Now, I really hope that the contract we signed two years ago will be respected. Let's stop saying: 'Kylian said, didn't say, did this, didn't do that.' Nobody, in reality, can say what happened, neither me, nor the representatives of PSG, since for two years Kylian and the president have always seen each other alone, except once. And all that hasn't stopped Kylian from playing since the announcement in February."

PSG have to pay Mbappe two months of wages and his bonuses from last season.
