Ibrahima Konate provides positive fitness update on social media after picking up knock in Liverpool's win against Brighton

Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konate has provided a fitness update on Instagram after picking up a knock during the Reds' 2-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion (November 2). The Frenchman confirmed that he didn't break his arm following a scan. He is confident of making the squad for their next game against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League on November 5.

Arne Slot and Co. showed great perseverance to come back from behind and secure three points at Anfield. Ferdi Kadioglu gave the Seagulls a deserved lead in the 14th minute with an excellent strike. Liverpool then suffered a massive blow right before half-time when Konate appeared to suffer a serious injury to his arm. He was subsequently subbed off during the break for Joe Gomez.

Fortunately for the Anfield faithful, Konate posted:

"Thanks for all the messages of support. My injury isn’t serious thankfully. I had a scan today and it confirmed there is no break. I’ll be ready for the next game. In Sha Allah !"

"Top of the table is where this club belongs" - Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah sends message to fans on social media following Brighton win

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has posted a defiant statement on X after scoring the Reds' winner in their 2-1 win against Brighton. The Egyptian King has insisted that the Merseysiders belong at the top of his table. In addition, he also stated that he will never forget the feeling of scoring at Anfield amid his contract's expiration next summer.

While Liverpool were able to pick up all three points, both Arsenal and Manchester City lost against Newcastle United and Bournemouth respectively. This ensured the Reds regained top spot with 25 points from 10 games.

Salah posted:

"Top of the table is where this club belongs. Nothing less. All teams win matches but there’s only 1 champion in the end. That’s what we want. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like."

Salah has been sensational for Arne Slot and Co. this season, netting nine goals and registering seven assists in 15 appearances across competitions.
