"It is absolutely disgusting" - Ben Foster finds unique way to praise Arsenal star Bukayo Saka
Ben Foster has claimed that Arsenal star Bukayo Saka's crosses are impossbile to deal with for goalkeepers. He believes that the defenders are also left in no man's land, as they could score an own goal if they end up touching the ball.
Speaking on his YouTube channel The Cycling GK, Foster claimed that Saka was brilliant in cutting in and crossing the ball. He believes that the defenders should do everything they can to ensure he does not get on his left foot.
He said:
“When you have got Saka on that right wing and he cuts inside, as soon as he cuts inside, right, a quick message for any opposition playing against Arsenal, alright, do not let Bukayo Saka cut inside. Don’t. What he is world class at, when he cuts inside is that whipped shot/cross."
"When he whips it into that back post area and it’s a cross that about five people could head it, including their defenders, and the goalkeeper can’t come for it because he has to wait, and then somebody at the back post, Martinelli, for example, at the weekend, goes and just puts it in. They are impossible to defend against. It’s asking for an own goal and it’s asking for a tap in. The goalie is just caught in the middle of it going, oh, this is just disgusting. It is absolutely disgusting,” he added.
Bukayo Saka has scored twice in the league this season. However, he has seven assists in as many league matches this season and will be hoping to keep his form going.
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka told he is not world-class by pundit
Ally McCoist has stated that Bukayo Saka is not a world-class player. He believes that Mohamed Salah is a level above the Arsenal star.
McCoist said on talkSPORT:
“I really like him, I think he’s a terrific player. I think Salah is world-class, I think Saka is international-class and he has the potential to become world-class. Do I like Saka? You better believe I do. He’s absolutely vital to Arsenal. There’s continued improvement in him, but I would be reserving the world-class tag just at the moment.”
The Gunners have started the season well and are third in the league table. They are level with second place Manchester City, and just a point behind Liverpool, who are currently on top of the table.
