“It’s not even close, dude is Rolls Royce” - Al-Nassr fans name 2 players who were better than Cristiano Ronaldo in win over Al-Rayyan

Cristiano Ronaldo had an impressive performance for his side against Al-Rayyan in the AFC Champions League, but according to Al-Nassr fans, Sadio Mane and Otavio performed better than him on the night.

The Knights of Najd were 2-1 winners over their Qatari counterparts on Monday, September 30. It was Al-Nassr's second match in the new format of the AFC Champions League Elite. They had previously played out a 1-1 draw with Al-Shorta in their opening game.

Ronaldo didn't play in that game as he was not included in the match-day squad after suffering from a viral infection. However, he marked his season's Champions League debut with a goal that turned out to be the winner. He dedicated his goal to his late father with a unique celebration by pointing his finger to the sky.

However, when asked who their man of the match was on X, several Al-Nassr fans singled out two players - Mane and Otavio - rather than their skipper.

The former Liverpool man opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the first half (45+1') before Ronaldo added the second later on (76'). Otavio, meanwhile, did not get on the scoresheet but was instrumental in Al-Nassr's attacking force. The Portuguese recorded three key passes, 92 touches, and an 88 percent passing accuracy. Mane, meanwhile, had 45 touches, created three big chances and had a passing accuracy of 86 percent.

One fan praised Mane and called him a Rolls Royce due to his contributions on and off the ball. The fan wrote:

"Sadio Mane and it's not even close , dude is rolls Royce when it comes to contribution off the ball and on the ball."

Other fans also mentioned the Seneglaese as their 'Man of the Match':

"Mane," One fan wrote.
"Sadio Mane," a second fan chimed in.

Some fans however, opted for Otavio as their stand out performer in the game:

"Otavio," a fan commented.
"Otavio," another Al-Nassr fan wrote.
Otavio," yet another fan said.

With this victory, Al-Nassr are third with four points from two games in the west division of the new AFC Champions League Elite format. Cristiano Ronaldo will be hoping to lead his side past the league stage and far into the knockout phase of the competition.
