Jude Bellingham opens up on his habit that leaves Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti like ‘Wtf, are you doing’

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham revealed one of his habits that confused manager Carlo Ancelotti. The Englishman recently spoke about how his Italian manager looked at him when he had coffee.

The 21-year-old has spent over a year with Ancelotti at Madrid but the way he has his coffee continues to irk his manager. Italians are known to be very particular about their coffee and Bellingham likes to add honey to his cappuccino.

He admitted that this style of drinking coffee leaves the former AC Milan manager confused.

"When I’m drinking cappuccino & I put honey in it, my coach looks at me like ‘Wtf are you doing’," Bellingham revealed (via @MadridXtra).

Jude Bellingham signed for Real Madrid last season in a deal worth an initial €103 million with an additional €30 million in add-ons from Borussia Dortmund. In three seasons with the Bundesliga giants, the youngster established himself as one of the most talented midfielders in the world. He set up 25 goals and scored another 24 in the 132 appearances he made for Dortmund.

The 21-year-old didn't take time to adapt to his new surroundings in Spain. In his debut season, he helped the club complete the UEFA Champions League and La Liga double. The Supercopa de Espana was also won in January in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

He was an ever-present in Carlo Ancelotti's side last season, making 42 appearances. His advanced role in midfield saw him score 23 goals and assist his teammates 13 times. A stunning debut season for Jude Bellingham earned him a spot in the 30-player shortlist for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.

"We've signed the wrong one" - Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti to Jude Bellingham

Earlier this summer, Jude Bellingham started his own YouTube channel to connect with his fans and show them glimpses of his life. The channel shared a new documentary on the footballer's life that charted his journey from Birmingham City to the 15-time European champions.

In the documentary, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is seen teasing his star midfielder that they should have signed his younger brother, Jobe. Last August, a month after Jude had signed for the Merengues, his younger brother scored a brace in Sunderland's 2-1 win over Rotherham.

Jude Bellingham recalled the Italian manager teasing him that they should have signed Jobe instead of him ahead of his debut match against Almeria.

"I’ll never forget, as we’re coming out, Ancelotti goes to me, ‘we’ve bought the wrong one'. Finally, he just gave me a little smile and my heart dropped. I’m like, 'no pressure for today'," the midfielder recalled in the documentary (via BBC).

The England international rose above the pressure, making his Real Madrid debut in style. He not only matched his brother's brace but also set up a goal for Vinicius Jr. to help his side win 3-1.
