Jude Bellingham reacts on social media as Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Jr reps his England kit in new Instagram post
Jude Bellingham has responded to a picture of Vinicius Junior donning his Real Madrid teammate's England shirt. The pair have struck up a strong friendship at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Vinicius came up against Bellingham when Brazil beat England 1-0 in a friendly at Wembley (March 23). The attacking duo appear to have swapped shirts as the Brazilian forward was snapped wearing the young Englishman's jersey.
Jude Bellingham responded in the comments section of the post:
"Broski."
Jude Bellingham and Vinicius' growing connection helped spearhead Real Madrid to glory last season. Los Blancos won the UEFA Champions League trophy, the La Liga title, and the Supercopa de Espana.
The exciting duo linked up on eight occasions, and Bellingham was the usual provider. He assisted the Selecao star six times as they quickly flourished together.
Jude Bellingham also holds Vinicius in high regard regarding his playing abilities. He reckons the Brazilian attacker is the best in the world (via ESPN):
"He's probably the best in the world for me. He's one of the most talented players I've ever played with."
Vinicius could be in action when Real Madrid face AC Milan in a friendly during their pre-season tour of the United States (August 1). Bellingham won't be available as he's sitting out the tour due to his recent participation at Euro 2024.
Carlo Ancelotti's men start the new season on August 14 when they face UEFA Europa League winners Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup. That could be the first time fans see Bellingham, Vinicius, and new signing Kylian Mbappe play together.
Vinicius appeared to ask Real Madrid teammate Jude Bellingham for Declan Rice's England shirt
Vinicius may be wearing Jude Bellingham's England shirt from Brazil's friendly win at Wembley, but it might not be the only shirt he took on the night. The Brazilian was seen in a clip that surfaced online asking his Real Madrid teammate for Declan Rice's shirt.
Rice had never played against Vinicius until that night, and he's one of English football's shining stars. He was on the move last summer as he joined Arsenal and enjoyed a stellar debut campaign at the Emirates.
The former West Ham United captain was part of a Three Lions side that finished runners-up at Euro 2024. He'd come off a sensational season of seven goals and 10 assists in 51 games across competitions.
