Jude Bellingham refuses to follow medical advice as he makes intentions clear at Real Madrid despite injury fears: Reports
English midfielder Jude Bellingham is suffering from a shoulder injury and has been advised to rest. However, the former Borussia Dortmund star is reportedly not keen to take rest as he doesn't want to miss games for Real Madrid.
Jude Bellingham dislocated his shoulder during Real Madrid's match against Rayo Vallecano in November 2023. After almost 11 months, his injury flared up during Los Blancos' 4-1 victory over Espanyol in La Liga on Sunday, September 22.
Carlo Ancelotti later substituted Jude Bellingham in the 84th minute as Antonio Rudiger was called in. As per the Spanish outlet MARCA, Bellingham is advised to rest for better recovery from the injury. However, the Englishman wants to continue playing amid the injury concerns because he has missed a few games at the start of the season due to a foot injury.
The 21-year-old missed four La Liga games for Los Blancos. In addition to that, he also didn't play for England in the Nations League, where the Three Lions recorded wins against Ireland and Finland. As per the aforementioned report, Ancelotti could rest Bellingham in Madrid's next game, as they will host Alaves at Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, September 24.
However, the Englishman is expected to return during the Madrid Derby, set to take place on Sunday, September 29, at Civitas Metropolitano.
Real Madrid getting prepared to make $133 million offer for Manchester City target: Reports
Real Madrid are reportedly preparing an offer of $133 million for Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala, as per TeamTalk.com. The German midfielder has garnered the attention of multiple top European clubs with his performance, including Carlo Ancelotti's Los Blancos and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
During the summer transfer window, Musiala revealed that he will stay at Bayern Munich for the 2024/25 season as he aims to help the Bavarians win the Bundesliga title again. His ongoing contract with the Bundesliga giants will expire in the summer of 2026.
Moreover, the sporting director of Bayern, Max Eberl, has also affirmed that a contract renewal for Musiala would be difficult but the club is willing to convince the 21-year-old to sign a new deal.
Jamal Musiala joined the U-17 team of Bayern Munich in 2019 from the Chelsea Youth. He eventually became an important part of the club, as he has made 169 appearances for the senior team, bagging 46 goals and 34 assists across different competitions. Nevertheless, with sufficient funds, Madrid and City are expected to make a winsome offer for the 21-year-old.
