Jude Bellingham, Vinicius ranked outside top 10 in list of 20 highest-paid footballers in Europe as surprise name tops charts ahead of Kylian Mbappe
Real Madrid stars like Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Jr are easily some of the highest paid players in Europe. However, a new list has revealed that the latter two are not even in the top 10, while Mbappe isn't the highest paid, despite his massive wages.
The highest-paid players in the world no longer play in Europe, with legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema raking in massive sums in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese legend reportedly takes home a mind-numbing €200 million every year, with Benzema and Brazilian superstar Neymar earning roughly half of that figure.
While the wages in Europe are not near this exorbitant, they are still impressive sums. Without further ado, let's take a look at the top 20 highest-paid footballers in Europe and view where players like Mbappe, Bellingham, and Vinicius stand (via Sport Bible):
#16-20 - Joshua Kimmich sits in the 20th spot
In the bottom quarter of the list, Bayern Munich players Joshua Kimmich and Leroy Sane take home £16.4 million and £16.8 million respectively. Chelsea players Romelu Lukaku and Raheem Sterling each earn £16.9 million, while Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele earns £16.8 million.
#11-15 - Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr sit in 12th and 13th
In 15th place and 11th place are Bayern Munich long-time servants Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer. Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, and Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak each earn £17.5 million.
