Kylian Mbappe celebrates wildly after scoring for Real Madrid on El Clasico debut; goal gets ruled out for offside

Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe thought that he had scored on his El Clasico debut on October 26, but the goal was ruled offside moments later. The Frenchman's wild celebration, therefore, came to an abrupt end as the scoreline reset to 0-0 at Santiago Bernabeu.

In the 31st minute of the game, Lucas Vazquez produced a well-measured through ball towards the path of the Frenchman. Mbappe quickly got past the Blaugrana defense and chipped Inaki Pena to make it 1-0 for Los Blancos.

After celebrating with the Santiago Bernabeu crowd, VAR confirmed that Mbappe's left and shoulder had strayed offside. Therefore, the goal didn't stand.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are currently fighting for the top spot in LaLiga with only three points separating the two sides. With 27 points in 10 games, La Blaugrana stand atop the LaLiga table and are followed by Los Blancos at 24.

Therefore, the season's first El Clasico will be crucial for both teams and a victory would go a long way to improve their title chances this season.

Bellingham alluded to the chances he missed in the game at Santiago Bernabeu. Although the midfielder bagged an assist, he failed to convert two big chances that would have increased Real Madrid's margin of victory even further.

In the comment section of the post, Kylian Mbappe wrote (via @theMadridZone):

"It’s gonna come really soon don’t worry "

Jude Bellingham had a brilliant first season with Los Blancos, scoring 23 goals and creating 13 more in 42 games across competitions. However, he has been on a goal drought this season so far.
