This is the modern-day golden era of Argentine football and Scaloni has been at the heart of it. He has revealed that he has two years left in his contract but claimed Chiqui Tapia should hand him a 15-year contract. "For now, I have two more years in my contract. We should tell the president to sign me for 15 years and I'll sign."

Scaloni further passionately said:

"It continues. If you win, it continues, and if you don't win, it continues just the same. That's the way to approach it. At some point, it will break, and the beauty is in getting up and rebuilding. If someday we lose, the beauty would be in rebuilding."

Lionel Scaloni has now been in charge of Argentina for 75 matches, helping La Albiceleste win 57 games and drawing 12. They have lost only six games under the tactician.

As listed earlier, Lionel Messi and Co. have become a giant in international football under Scaloni's tutelage, winning major trophies one after the other.
