Liverpool and Manchester United target not interested in joining Saudi Pro League clubs: Reports

French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who has been on the transfer radar of Liverpool and Manchester United, is reportedly not looking forward to playing in Saudi Arabia soon. Currently without a club, Rabiot last played for Juventus. His contract with the Seria A giants expired in July earlier this year, and he's yet to find a new suitor.

Multiple European clubs are interested in the French midfielder, but his demand for a high fee has stopped all the deals from materializing.

Rabiot is requesting €10 million per year with a signing-on bonus of €15 million. He also faced a similar situation last year, but later agreed on a one-year contract extension with Juventus.

Earlier this year, Juventus offered Rabiot a two-year extension with a salary of €7.5 million per year, but it was turned down by the 29-year-old. An offer of €5.5 million per year was also made by AC Milan, only to be turned down by Rabiot.

Manchester United, Newcastle United, Galatasaray, Al-Nassr, and more have been interested in signing the Frenchman. However, his financial demands have made the deals fall straight on their faces.

Despite failing to find success in finding a club, Adrien Rabiot has no plans of going to Turkey or the Saudi Pro League, as per Fabrizio Romano. The 29-year-old is prioritizing the top five European leagues.

Manchester United could sign defender who rejected Chelsea: Reports

Danish football star Patrick Dorgu has become a transfer target for Erik ten Hag's Manchester United after he reportedly turned down an offer by Chelsea earlier in the summer.

Dorgu joined Seria A side Lecce in July 2023 from Nordsjaelland Under-19. He has made 38 appearances Lecce, scoring two goals and assisting one. Dorgu majorly plays as a left-back, but he has also played as a left midfielder in some games.

According to HITC, Patrick Dorgu had an opportunity to sign a deal with Chelsea during the summer transfer window. However, he declined, as he didn't want to be loaned to the Blues' sister club, Strasbourg.

As a result, the Danish defender has become a target for Manchester United. As per the report, the Red Devils have also made a check on the 20-year-old. Lecce value the defender at €30 million amid interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
