Liverpool star spotted signing Real Madrid shirt amid exit rumors

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was spotted signing Real Madrid shirts amid rumors linking the England international with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Alexander-Arnold is currently in the final year of his contract with the Merseysiders and has been linked with a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Alexander-Arnold is currently on holiday with his friend Jude Bellingham, who certainly plays for Los Blancos. Last year, Alexander-Arnold was perceived as an agent to convince Bellingham to move to Anfield, which didn't materialize.

Fans might be worried that Bellingham could reverse the situation this year and the 25-year-old full-back signing a Real Madrid shirt could add fuel to the fire.

Alexander-Arnold so far made 310 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals and providing 81 assists. He was one of the crucial players in Jurgen Klopp's team that achieved success.

Los Merengues, meanwhile, are reportedly looking to add depth to their right-back slot. Dani Carvajal, a long-term servant of the club, is now 32-years-old and Alexander-Arnold, one of the finest full-backs in the EPL, has emerged as a potential target. He has an estimated market value of €70 million as per Transfermarkt.

Trent Alexander-Arnold tipped to snub Liverpool for Real Madrid

Trent Alexander-Arnold is a product of Liverpool's academies and has won the Premier League, and the UEFA Champions League, among other trophies for the Anfield club.

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke feels Alexander-Arnold has done his bit for the Reds and it's time for him to answer the call from Los Blancos.

He told BoyleSports:

"For me, it's a no-brainer. If I were to advise him, those are the things I would look at because here he just gets knocked down- he should seriously consider leaving and going to Real Madrid."

Yorke feels Alexander-Arnold doesn't get enough credit at his current club and is the subject of undue criticism. A move to the Spanish capital would also give the full-back the chance to play for arguably the biggest club in world football.
