Liverpool are unbeaten in nine games

Liverpool have won each of their seven Premier League games. They are also unbeaten in their last nine games and have not tasted defeat since losing 4-1 to Manchester City on April 1. The Reds will be determined to take the streak to double figures against Aston Villa.

Jurgen Klopp's side are fifth in the table with two games left. They are just one point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, but the Red Devils have a game in hand. The Merseyside-based club will be determined to win their remaining matches to keep their hopes of securing a top-four finish alive.

Aston Villa, meanwhile, have had an upturn in form since Unai Emery took the reins in November. The Birmingham outfit have won 14 and drawn three of their 25 games under the Spaniard. However, they have only won two of their last five matches.

Villa are placed eighth in the table with 57 points from 36 games. They can finish as high as sixth and secure European football for next season. Hence, they will be keen to earn as many points as possible from their remaining games against Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion.
