Lukas Podolski sends confident claim as Arsenal beat Tottenham in north London derby win

Former Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski sent a bold message on social media after the Gunners defeated Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby on Sunday, April 28.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's own goal (15') broke the deadlock at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Goals from Bukayo Saka (27') and Kai Havertz (38') made it 3-0 for the Gunners.

Despite having a handsome lead before half-time, Mikel Arteta's side had to survive a late scare. Cuti Romero (64') and Heung Min Son (87' P) pulled two back for the home side. The league leaders clung on to the advantage and came away with crucial three points.

Podolski took to social media after the game and showed support for his former side, writing:

"#Londonisred. #COYG"
