Manchester City Premier League 2024/25 fixtures: Full schedule and dates as reigning champions begin title defense against Chelsea

Manchester City will begin their Premier League title defense with an away clash at Chelsea. The Cityzens drew 4-4 at Stamford Bridge last season, with their former player Cole Palmer scoring a late penalty.

Pep Guardiola's side will then be up against newly promoted Ipswich Town in their first home match of the season, before heading back to London to take on West Ham United. September kicks off with Brentford and Arsenal at home, and Newcastle United away to end it.

Manchester City have three fixtures in October as well with home clashes against Fulham and Southampton, while the away match is against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Guardiola will have to field the team for four Premier League clashes in November, with three of them away from home. They travel to face Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Liverpool, while the only home game is against Tottenham Hotspur.

The festive period sees Manchester City play six Premier League matches in December. The Cityzens welcome Nottingham Forest, Manchester United, and Everton to the Etihad, with away clashes to Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Leicester City also on the calendar.

Manchester City have tough set of fixtures in 2025

The start of 2025 will see them face West Ham United at home in the first match, with away clashes against Brentford and Ipswich Town following it. Chelsea will be the final opponent in January.

The toughest month of the season for Manchester City will be February, as they are up against three of the top five from the 2022/23 season. They will play away to Arsenal and Tottenham while facing Newcastle United and Liverpool at home.

Guardiola will have just two Premier League matches in March with Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion. However, that will be followed by five matches in April against Leicester City, Manchester United, Crystal Palace, Everton and Aston Villa.

The final four matches of the season will be in May, with the season-ending at Fulham. They also face Wolverhampton, Southampton, and Bournemouth – which will be the final home match of the season.
