Erik ten Hag's Manchester United have reportedly entered the race to sign Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Amar Dedic, as per TEAMtalk.
Dedic currently plays for RB Salzburg, and he's also on the transfer radar of Napoli and Brighton & Hove Albion. The 22-year-old has also been a part of the youth team of Salzburg, playing mainly as a right-back. Dedic has made 85 appearances for the senior team of RB Salzburg, bagging eight goals and 12 assists across all competitions.
He has also played two games in the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League. As a result of his performance in recent matches, the 22-year-old has gained the attention of top European clubs, one of which is Manchester United.
The Red Devils have Noussair Mazraoui and Diego Dalot as their right-back options. However, as per the aforementioned report, the Old Trafford outfit aims to sign more competition for the duo. Additionally, Amar Dedic can also play as a left-back or a central defender.
His contract with RB Salzburg will expire in summer 2027 and the Austrian side is expected to make a demand of around €30 million for the 22-year-old. Nevertheless, as the moment, Seria A giants Napoli are in the best position to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina defender.
Manchester United interested in signing 25-year-old French forward: Reports
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) Randal Kolo Muani but he's not expected to be available in January, as per CaughtOffside.
The Red Devils completed the signing of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna in the summer transfer window. However, the Dutch forward has been struggling to settle as Old Trafford, much like Danish attacker Rasmus Hojlund. As a result, Erik ten Hag's side have started shortlisting a new candidate for the role in the upcoming transfer window.
Meanwhile, as per the same report, PSG are not ready to sell the Frenchman and he's unlikely to be available in the January transfer window. As a result, United might consider signing the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window.
For the Red Devils, Randal Kolo Muani is valued at €70 million. However, he joined the Ligue 1 giants from Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt for a reported transfer fee of €95 million in September 2023. Since joining PSG, the French forward has made 49 appearances, bagging 11 goals and six assists across all competitions.
