Manchester United are preparing an offer of around £17 million to try and sign Colombian midfielder Richard Rios from Palmeiras this summer. The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their ranks after a dismal 2023-24 season, and they intend to carry out some smart business.
Rios was one of the breakout stars from this summer's Copa America, starting every game for Colombia as they reached the final of the tournament. The 24-year-old completed the most dribbles (18) by any player to have featured at the Copa America and Euros this summer, showing his technical level.

Pellistri spent the second half of the 2023-24 season on loan at Granada, where he contributed two goals and two assists in 15 appearances. Greek publication Sportime shared that Panathinaikos have been in talks over a move for the 22-year-old winger, and significant progress has been made.
Facundo Pellistri has been at Manchester United since 2020 but has failed to nail down a regular spot in their squad. The young winger represented Uruguay at Copa America 2024, helping them finish third in the tournament.
