Manchester United star joins Cristiano Ronaldo and family for private concert as they enjoy summer break, video emerges

Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot was spotted with Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo and his family on a holiday. The Portuguese duo are close friends and the defender was one of the first to comfort the striker after his well-publicized penalty miss at Euro 2024.

The video on X (formerly Twitter) shows the two footballers enjoying a private concert from Richie Campbell as they recharge their batteries ahead of the new season.

Here's the video:

Dalot has played 157 times for the Red Devils, scoring six times and providing 10 assists en route to helping them to League Cup and FA Cup glory. The fullback has also played 22 times for his country, scoring twice and providing three assists.

Cristiano Ronaldo played for Manchester United across two stints, with 346 appearances that bore him 145 goals and 64 assists. His recent stint with the club saw him strike up a friendship with Dalot, while bagging 27 goals and providing five assists from 54 games in 2021 and 2022.

Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer discusses Cristiano Ronaldo signing

Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer claimed the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo was too good to pass up, even though it did not go to plan. The two players represented the club together and were reunited with the Norwegian in the dugout.

Ronaldo joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2021. Despite his UEFA Champions League form remaining good, the team struggled to perform and Solskjaer was eventually sacked. Speaking to Marca about the situation, the former striker said:

"It felt so right when he signed and the fans felt that at that Newcastle game, when Old Trafford was rocking. He was still one of the best goalscorers in the world, he was looking strong. Then, things went against us."

Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo eventually parted ways after the Portuguese legend gave Piers Morgan an explosive interview criticizing the club. He now plays for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
