Meet Charlie Morgan, the ex-Swansea ball boy kicked by Eden Hazard who is now worth more than Harry Kane due to Vodka business
Ex-Swansea City ball boy Charlie Morgan, who was kicked by Eden Hazard in 2013, is now one of the UK's richest people under the age of 30. He is currently the co-owner of the premium vodka brand AU Vodka and is valued at £55 million, even ahead of Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.
Charlie Morgan, who was 17 at the time, was infamously kicked by former Chelsea superstar Hazard in 2013 during the League Cup semi-final. The ball went out of play on the sidelines and Morgan proceeded to lie down on top of the ball to waste time for Swansea.
Hazard's frustration got the better of him and he kicked the former ball boy in the chest to get the ball back. The Belgian was immediately sent off and given a three-match ban. Swansea went on to win the tie 2-0 on aggregate.
Fast forward a decade later, and Charlie Morgan has made quite a name for himself. He is the co-owner of AU Vodka, a premium liquor brand that is featured in the UK's high-end clubs and bars.
According to talkSPORT, celebrities like Ronaldinho and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather are fans of his product. Jake Paul has also gotten a tattoo of AU Vodka in exchange for £206,000.
Charlie Morgan is currently the 27th richest person in the UK and is valued at £55 million.
Eden Hazard has no intentions of leaving Real Madrid this summer: Reports
According to MARCA, Eden Hazard has rejected several transfer offers from Major League Soccer and the Saudi Pro League and plans on staying at Real Madrid this summer.
Eden Hazard was signed by Los Blancos in 2019 from Chelsea for a reported fee of €140 million. He was expected to maintain the superstar levels he had reached for the Blues, however, it didn't pan out that way.
Injuries have affected the Belgian's career and he has fallen out of favor with Carlo Ancelotti. Despite winning seven trophies for Real Madrid, including the UEFA Champions League, Eden Hazard has only featured 76 times to date. He has only scored seven goals, a poor return for his price tag.
Eden Hazard is currently earning €292,000 a week at Real Madrid Florentino Perez is reportedly eager to sell him this summer. However, the former Chelsea winger's contract expires next summer, and he has no intentions of leaving before that.
This would be a questionable decision as the 32-year-old could revive his career at a different club. It is unlikely he will be given another chance of getting into the starting XI again.
