Where does Salah's future lie?

The future of Mohamed Salah, whose contract with Liverpool expires in 2025, is up in the air, with the Anfield club yet to decide how they are going to proceed under new management.

Sorting out the Egyptian's future would be the biggest priority as new boss Arne Slot aims to set his side up for a challenging season. However, with the 32-year old working with Slot in pre-season, it seems unlikely the mercurial winger will leave the 19-time English champions this summer.

Liverpool have been linked with many attackers in case Salah leaves Anfield. Daily Mail reported about their interest in Newcastle's Anthony Gordon, while reputed journalist Sacha Tavolieri named PSV's Johan Bakayoko as one the six-time Champions League winners are interested in.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added to the list by naming Mohammed Kudus, and according to the Mirror, Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is also considered a possible replacement for Salah.

Despite his contract situation and the club's reported search for attacking players, the winger has showed no signs of slowing down, scoring against Arsenal in the 2-1 pre-season 2-1 win in the USA.
