The Portuguese icon was on vacation after the Euro 2024 campaign. He missed all of Al-Nassr's pre-season matches where the Riyadh-based club failed to bag a win.

The Knights of Njad opened their scoring with winger Ayman Yahya's goal from an assist by captain Cristiano Ronaldo just eight minutes into the match. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner doubled the score in the 57th minute.

After making two goal contributions in Al-Nassr's Saudi Super Cup semi-final win against Al-Taawoun, Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to celebrate the victory. The Portugal national team captain shared pictures of himself and his club teammates on the pitch during the recent match with the caption:

"Super Cup final here we come! 🔥"

Ronaldo has now scored 58 goals and provided 15 assists in 64 appearances across all competitions for Al-Nassr. He arrived at the Saudi Pro League side in 2023 following his second stint at Manchester United.

The Knights of the Najd will play against Al-Raed in their first Saudi Pro League fixture in the 2024-2025 season on August 22 at Al-Awwal Stadium.
