“My life is a river of unknowns” - Kylian Mbappe makes feelings clear about Real Madrid future amid tough start in Spain
Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe, one of the best footballers in the world, recently sat down with CANAL+ journalist Moloud Achour for an exclusive interview. The 25-year-old spoke about his future at Real Madrid after a tough start to life in Spain among other things in the conversation, according to AS.
The Frenchman arrived at Real Madrid on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window. Mbappe has had a slow start by his high standards at the Santiago Bernabeu with 11 goals in 21 matches.
When asked about his future at Real Madrid, Mbappe replied:
"I never know what’s going to happen. My life is a river of unknowns."
The France international scored a whopping 256 goals in 308 appearances across competitions for PSG.
"When I see something that moves me, I respond" - Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe also spoke about making his political beliefs public ahead of the French elections earlier this year.
The star forward maintained that he loves his country, and everything he said was to express himself as a citizen.
“France is full of diversity, where we don’t impose on young people what they should be. I grew up with our culture in Bondy (his native neighbourhood on the outskirts of Paris). In Monaco, I got to know another culture. Then, I was Kylian, and when you are known, you are accepted anyway. But I always wanted to express myself as a citizen," Mbappe said in the same interview.
“I am someone open to dialogue. When I see something that moves me, I respond. What was happening in France, it moved me. We are French citizens. Nobody is perfect, I can’t be blamed for caring about my country," he added.
Mbappe will next be seen in action when Real Madrid take on Atalanta away from home in a UEFA Champions League game on Tuesday, December 10.
