Neymar Jr shares adorable video alongside daughter from Al-Hilal training complex as he closes in on return from injury

Neymar Jr shared an adorable video with his daughter in the Al-Hilal training complex ahead of returning from a long and crucial ACL injury. The short video featured a montage of the Brazilian showing his daughter Mavie around the training center.

"Today she went to see where daddy works," the caption said.

Neymar has been injured since October 2023 when he suffered an ACL tear while representing Brazil on international duty. The estimated time for his return was around 10 to 11 months.

The Brazilian has been on the road to recovery and regularly updates his fans with videos of his training. It remains to be seen when he returns to the pitch for Al-Hilal. The former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star missed almost Al-Hilal's entire campaign last season and the 2024 Copa America with Brazil. He has only played six games for the Saudi Pro-League giants as of now.

In other news, the Joga Bonito star welcomed his daughter with partner Bruna Biancardi in October 2023.

According to UOL Esporte, Neymar Jr has already informed players and officials of his boyhood club, Santos FC, that he would be returning to the club in 2025. The Joga Bonito star's contract with Al-Hilal ends in 2025, after which he wants to return to his home country.

UOL Esporte reported that Neymar went through the Vila Belmiro dressing room and announced that he is returning to play in the Brazilian Championship in 2025. If the Brazilian remains true to his reported decision, he will play his first game in his own country since 2013.

The former PSG star played for Santos FC between 2009 to 2013 before moving to Barcelona for a reported transfer fee of €57.1 million. The Brazilian had signed a five-year deal with the club until June 2018. However, he left Barca a year earlier in 2017 to join PSG for a world record fee of €222 million.

Neymar played for the French giants between 2017 to 2023 before moving to Al-Hilal last year. He is widely expected to return to the pitch in the upcoming 2024-25 season but no date has been officially announced for his return.
