Fans have taken to social media to hail Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham for his stoppage-time heroics in England's 2-1 win over Slovakia in EURO 2024. The two sides faced off in a Round of 16 clash at the Veltins-Arena on June 30.

England tried to dominate proceedings from the off, but were unable to convert their possession into clear chances. Slovakia shocked England in the 25th minute through Ivan Schranz, who timed his run in-behind perfectly and poked his effort beyond goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

In the second half, Phil Foden seemingly scored the equaliser, but the goal was ruled out due to offside. In the 90+5th minute, Jude Bellingham pulled off an acrobatic bicycle kick and sent the Three Lions into extra time.

Harry Kane found the lead for the Three Lions with a clinical header in the first minute of extra time to secure England's passage to the quarterfinals.

Jude Bellingham's overhead kick in second-half stoppage time enthralled fans, and they took to social media to hail the Real Madrid midfielder.
