Official: Cristiano Ronaldo named Saudi Pro League 'Player of the Month' for March

Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the Saudi Pro League's Player of the Month for March.

Ronaldo, 39, has been in blazing form for the Knights of Najd this season. He has already scored 36 goals and has provided 12 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions this season. Ronaldo is also the SPL's leading scorer at the moment with 29 goals in 25 appearances. He also has 10 assists in the league.

Ronaldo was in great form in March and scored four goals, including a hat-trick, in three appearances. Al-Alami won two of their three matches and lost the other to Al-Raed.

Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, is back in the team to face Al-Khaleej. He was suspended for the Al-Fayha game after picking up a red card against Al-Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup.

Sadio Mane shone in Ronaldo's absence, scoring twice against Al-Fayha. With the talismanic Portuguese back in Luis Castro's attacking ranks, Al-Khaleej's defense is in for a tough test.

Al-Nassr are currently second in the Saudi Pro League. They have 68 points from 28 matches. Despite Ronaldo's extraordinary form, Castro's side are 12 points behind league leaders Al-Hilal.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still delivering in the Saudi Pro League and the Portuguese superstar has now bagged four Player of the Month awards this season. Despite being 39, Ronaldo continues to be a menace in front of the goal.

He has won the Player of the Month in August, September, December, and now in March. His goalscoring form has been quite spectacular this season and the numbers reflect his form.

Ronaldo has now scored 50 goals and has provided 14 assists in 56 appearances for Al-Nassr. With the Euro 2024 approaching, the Portugal captain's brilliant form should be great news for Roberto Martinez.
