"OMG, finally", "My dream has come true" - Fans react as Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr have reportedly decided to sell foreign star
Fans on social media have reacted to Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr reportedly deciding to sell Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca to Turkish giants Fenerbahce. The 30-year-old joined the Knights of Najd from Chinese outfit Guangzhou FC in 2021 for a reported transfer fee of €8 million (as per Transfermarkt).
Anderson Talisca has been an important player for Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr, scoring 76 goals and creating 10 more in 104 games across competitions. However, his scoring form has been underwhelming this season, recording only eight goals in 19 matches. On top of that, the Brazilian attacker often refrains from going back and helping in the team's defense, thereby helping the opposition build attacks from the back.
As per journalist Ahmed Al-Jadi, Al-Nassr CEO Guido Fienga has traveled to Turkiye for final negotiations with Fenerbahce.
Many fans on X have rejoiced over Anderson Talisca potentially leaving the club. Some also stated that Senegalese forward Sadio Mane should be next on the list of departures. Some popular comments on X are as follows:
"Omg finally. Now they better bring in insane replacement. Mane is next," a fan wrote.
"My dream has come true, it's Mane turn to go too," agreed another fan of Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr.
"Thank God, now Mane needs to leave and we can dream about win something again," opined another user on X.
"Finally TALISCA OUT," one netizen chimed in.
A fan opined that Talisca fails to pass the ball in crucial situations, writing:
"Tell me, am I dreaming?" one user quipped.
Talking about the club's transfer targets this season, a user suggested getting a good midfielder or a left-back.
"Angelo Is Already A Descent RW Go For A Midfielder Or A Left Back!" they wrote on X.
"Anderson Talisca finally out of my life," wrote one user.
Despite playing for over three seasons for Al-Nassr, Anderson Talisca is yet to win a piece of official silverware with The Knights of Najd.
Inter Milan reportedly interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr strike partner Sadio Mane
Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate Sadio Mane. The Senegalese superstar joined the Saudi outfit from German giants Bayern Munich in 2023 for a reported transfer fee of €30 million.
Despite the hype surrounding the arrival of the 32-year-old, he has failed to live up to expectations in Saudi Arabia. In 69 games played across competitions so far, he has scored 24 goals and registered 16 assists for the Knights of Najd.
According to a report by Fichajes.net, Inter Milan are looking to sign the Senegalese star. This is because they feel he has more to offer in Europe despite his age. Mane's contract with his Saudi employers runs till June 2026. Therefore, his current club would want to sell him in 2025 to secure a transfer fee.
