"One of the biggest games in world football" - Thomas Muller makes claim on social media ahead of Bayern Munich-Real Madrid UCL S/F clash
Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller has reacted to their upcoming clash against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.
The Bavarians beat Arsenal 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals. After drawing 2-2 at the Emirates in the first leg, the German giants host the Gunners on Wednesday, April 17. Joshua Kimmich scored the solitary goal of the game to help Bayern reach the semi-finals.
Los Blancos, meanwhile, overcame the Manchester City challenge in the quarter-finals on penalties. After a 3-3 draw in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, they drew 1-1 at the Etihad after extra time. The Spanish giants prevailed on penalties, with Antonio Rudiger scoring the winning penalty.
After the game, Germany forward Thomas Muller shared a video about the upcoming semi-finals. He also pointed out how Kimmich and Rudiger scored the winning goal for their respective teams, and said:
"The German guys seal the deal. Toni Rudiger for Real Madrid and Josh Kimmich for us. The semi-finals between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. I think one of the biggest game in world football. I'm excited to go there in three weeks, I think, the homes is in two weeks. So let's go FC Bayern. Mia san mia!"
The first leg of the semi-finals will take place at Allianz Arena on April 30 with the second leg eight days later at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are two of the biggest clubs in Europe and have clashed several times across in the UEFA Champions League. Their head-to-head record raises expectations of an exhilarating semi-final up next.
Bayern have won 12 out of their 26 Champions League fixtures against Los Blancos, with the latter winning 11 times. Three of their encounters have ended in a draw. The German giants have won the tournament six times while their Spanish counterparts are the record holders with a whopping 14 trophies to their name.
The last time they faced off was in the semi-finals in the 2017-18 season. Real Madrid won 2-1 at Allianz Arena in the first leg. Marcelo and Marco Asensio scored for them while Joshua Kimmich scored for Bayern Munich.
Karim Benzema scored a brace in a 2-2 draw in the second leg to cancel out Kimmich and James Rodriguez's goals. Los Blancos went on to beat Liverpool 3-1 in the final to complete their iconic three-peat.
