When Cristiano Ronaldo was asked about marrying Georgina Rodriguez
Cristiano Ronaldo has been in a relationship with Georgina Rodriguez since 2016. The pair are co-parents to five kids as well, with Rodriguez being the biological mother of two.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez, however, haven't gotten married yet. British TV broadcaster Piers Morgan quizzed Ronaldo about the topic in 2019. Ronaldo responded (via Mirror):
"She's a fantastic person. Yes it is [true love]. Yes it was [like magic meeting for the first time]. Gio is part of me. She helps me so much."
Further speaking about the intimate relationship he shares with Rodriguez, Ronaldo said:
"Of course I'm in love with her. She's the mum of my kids. I'm so passionate for her. She's my friend, we have conversations, I open my heart to her, she opened her heart to me. [She's the greatest love of my life]..."
Ronaldo further claimed that one day he will surely marry Rodriguez and added that it's his mother's dream. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner said:
"Why not [get married]. Not now! Not in this interview. Why not, one day... We'll one day for sure. It's my mum's dream."
Ronaldo and Rodriguez met in Madrid when he played for La Liga giants Real Madrid. Since then, they have lived in cities like Turin, Manchester, and now Riyadh.
