“One less day left until we're back” - Brahim Diaz shares emotional messages as Real Madrid learn potential return date of the 25-year-old star

Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz has shared an emotional message with fans of the club following his injury. The 25-year-old suffered a muscular injury in Los Blancos' 2-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday, September 14. He will reportedly be out for at least three months.

Diaz made the starting XI against Sociedad but played for only 24 minutes. The Morocco international went down on the pitching clutching his thighs and had to be substituted for Rodrygo. Madrid went on to seal their third league win of the season, thanks to penalty goals from Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe.

In the aftermath of his injury and diagnosis, Diaz shared an emotional message with the fans on Instagram. He expressed his sadness regarding the injury and thanked fans for their support as he undergoes recovery.

“I'm sad about the injury, but there's one less day left until we're back. We have to face small obstacles that make us stronger. I'll be there until I recover, helping and cheering on the team like any other fan at every game. Thank you all for your displays of affection. It's much easier this way. I can't wait to see you again and enjoy it together! See you soon. #HalaMadrid" Diaz posted.

Real Madrid have been hit with injuries to multiple key players. Other players currently on the club's injury list include David Alaba, Eduardo Camavinga, and Dani Ceballos.


Real Madrid reveal 19-man squad for UEFA Champions League opener aginst VfB Stuutgart

Real Madrid have revealed a 19-man squad for their UEFA Champions League opening fixture. Los Blancos will begin their title defense on Tuesday, September 17 when they welcome Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Carlo Ancelotti's list includes three goalkeepers (Thibaut Courtois, Andrey Lunin, Fran Gonzalez), and seven defenders (Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Lucas Vasquez, Jesus Vallejo, Fran Garcia, Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rudiger).

Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni who missed the league game against Sociedad are back in the squad. Luka Modric, Federico Valverde, and Arda Guler have also been named in the matchday squad. Completing the list are forwards Vinicius Jr, Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo, and summer recruit Endrick.
