Marc Cucurella will hope to bring Euros form to Chelsea ahead of 2024-25 season

Fans will hope Marc Cucurela can replicate his recent form with the Spanish national team at club level when the new season commence. The 25-year-old has been subject to huge criticisms following his reported £60 million move to Stamford Bridge two seasons ago.

The Spainard was also crtisiced by former Manchester United defender Gary Neville who referred to him as the weak spot in Luis de la Fuente's setup. However, the Chelsea full-back proved critics wrong with a worthy performance at the Euros.

His resurgent performance saw him being named in the Team of the Tournament. Cucurella will link up with his teammates later on for pre-season and will hope to impress new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca. The Spainard faces competition from Ben Chilwell for a place in the manager's starting XI.
