Pau Victor names Barcelona superstar who ‘does not like the music’ played by Lamine Yamal inside dressing room

Pau Victor has revealed that Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong dislikes Lamine Yamal's taste in music. The Spanish forward opened up about how De Jong reacts to the songs in the dressing room.

Yamal earned his first-team promotion last season, having come through the La Masia academy. At just 16 years of age, the young forward dazzled with his performances for the Blaugrana. He showed exceptional talent and seemed comfortable playing for one of the biggest teams in the world.

Yamal registered 50 appearances across competitions, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists. The Barcelona winger was certainly a key player for Xavi's side.

He continued to impress at the 2024 European Championships as well, helping Spain lift the title after an excellent campaign. He provided four assists at the tournament in Germany and scored in the semi-finals against France.

This season, the 17-year-old has shown no signs of decline, contributing six goals and eight assists across all competitions so far. Speaking in a recent interview, Pau Victor revealed that Yamal was responsible for playing music in the dressing room.

While the Spaniard seems extraordinary on the pitch, Victor claims that De Jong is not a fan of him as a DJ. He said (via Barca Universal):

"[De Jong] does not like the music of Yamal. There are days that end with a lot of noise. Listening to these songs at 9.00 a.m. in the morning, you don’t feel like it, but it’s very good."

Barcelona will next face Real Sociedad on Sunday (November 10).
