Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric's time together as teammates
Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric became teammates when the Croat joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012. They played 222 games together, combining in 16 goals.
Modric notably set Ronaldo up for his second goal in the 2016-17 UEFA Champions League final win against Juventus. They won four UCL titles together as teammates and had an amazing partnership,
They have also faced off nine times on the international level and also on club level during Modric's time at Tottenham. The Portuguese has won eight of those games while the other ended in a draw.
Modric, now 38, is still at Real Madrid. Ronaldo, meanwhile, is currently at Al-Nassr after spells at Juventus and Manchester United. He left Los Blancos in 2018 after helping them win three back-to-back UCL titles.
