Premier League odds on winner of 2024/25 season come to light as Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea rated

BetMGM have shared the odds for the Premier League 2024/25 winner, with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United in the mix. As per the odds, the Cityzens will win their record-extending fifth league title in a row.

Pep Guardiola's side continued their dominance in English football as they retained their title for the fourth time in a row last season. They beat West Ham United 3-1 on the final day to pip Arsenal to the title by two points. They will now look to continue their winning run and as per BetMGM, they are the favorites.

According to BetMGM (via Metro), Manchester City have 6/5 odds of winning the Premier League title this season. Arsenal have 37/20 odds to win their first title since the 2003-04 season's Invincible title. Liverpool are 7/1 favorites to win the league while Chelsea are 20/1. Manchester United have 22/1 while Tottenham Hotspur have 25/1 odds of winning the league.

It's important to note that these odds are subject to change with time. BetMGM have also shared the odds for potential relegation. Newly promoted sides Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton have 2/5, 8/11, and 5/4 odds of getting relegated respectively. Everton (7/4), Nottingham Forest (2/1), Wolverhampton Wanderers (7/2), and Brentford (5/1) are also expected to be in the mix.


A look at Premier League's Big 6's opening fixtures, including Arsenal and Manchester United

The Premier League 2024/25 season is set to commence on Friday (August 16). In the opening fixture, Manchester United will take on Fulham at Old Trafford. The Red Devils finished eighth last season while the Cottagers were 13th. Manchester United also won the FA Cup.

The gameweek will then continue on Saturday, with Liverpool facing newly-promoted side Ipswich Town at Portman Road. The Reds finished third last season but won the Carabao Cup and will now begin their new era under Arne Slot. Runner-ups for two years in a row, Arsenal will host Wolverhampton Wanderers in their opening fixture on Saturday. Wolves were 14th last season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will welcome champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge in their opening fixture on Sunday. The Blues finished sixth last season but were demoted to the UEFA Europa Conference League as Manchester United qualified for the Europa League by winning the FA Cup. They will also be under a new manager - Enzo Maresca.

Finally, Tottenham Hotspur will play their opening game on Monday against newly-promoted Leicester City at King Power Stadium. They finished fifth last season, two points behind Aston Villa.
