Barcelona and AC Milan are interested in signing 22-year-old Moroccan midfielder: Reports

Real Betis are reportedly looking forward to selling Moroccan midfielder Abde Ezzalzouli in the upcoming summer transfer window, as Barcelona and AC Milan are interested in closing the deal for the 22-year-old.

As per the Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Real Betis are keen to cut their expenses in the summer and are looking forward to selling Ezzalzouli if they receive a decent deal.

The Moroccan midfielder has made 32 appearances for Los Verdiblancos this season, bagging five goals across all competitions. However, the 22-year-old has gathered limited minutes on the ground. In La Liga, Abde Ezzalzouli has been named in the starting line-up only five times. In 17 matches, he has fulfilled the role of a second-half substitute in Manuel Pellegrini's side.

Betis signed Ezzalzouli from Barcelona for a reported transfer fee of €7.5 million last summer. Xavi Hernandez's side also has a 50 percent sell-on clause for the Moroccan midfielder with a €20 buy-back option. However, as per the aforementioned report, it is unlikely to be exercised.
