PSG are interested in signing Raphinha from Barcelona, according to a report by Fichajes.net. The Brazilian winger is reportedly considered a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who left the French giants last summer as a free agent to join Real Madrid.
However, the report claims that Barcelona's hierarchy are unwilling to sell Raphinha, who has enjoyed a blistering start to the 2024-25 season. The Brazilian winger has scored 10 goals and registered nine assists in 14 appearances this season.
PSG's hierarchy have been looking to sign a replacement for Mbappe since he left the club last summer. The Frenchman scored 256 goals and provided 108 assists in 308 appearances while he was at the Parc des Princes.
In their quest to replace Mbappe, PSG have reportedly turned their attention to Raphinha, who has been remarkable in Hansi Flick's early tenure.
The major challenge in this potential deal is Barcelona's reported unwillingness to negotiate, which could compel the Parisians to drop their interest in the former Leeds United winger.
Luis Enrique's men have struggled in the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League, having registered only four points from three games so far. However, they are cruising in Ligue 1 with 26 points from 10 matches, six points ahead of second-placed Monaco.

The Nigerian international has been remarkable this season, scoring seven goals and registering five assists in 12 appearances. The 27-year-old was ranked 14th in the 2024 Ballon d'Or standings after an outstanding 2023-24 campaign with Atalanta.
Lookman's ability to play on both flanks could be useful for PSG. With a current market value of €40 million according to Transfermarkt, Lookman would likely be a cheaper option than Raphinha. His contract with Atalanta is set to expire in the summer of 2026, which could weaken the Serie A side's hand in negotiations.
