Several fans on social media reacted to Real Madrid's 5-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League's league phase on Tuesday (October 22). Los Blancos were trailing 2-0 at halftime but made an incredible comeback, scoring five goals in the second-half.

Borussia Dortmund scored twice within four minutes in the first-half with Donyell Malen (30') and Jamie Gittens (34') finding the back of the net. However, Real Madrid's comeback began in the second-half with a powerful header from close range by Antonio Rudiger (60'), followed by Vinicius Jr's equalizer (62'). Lucas Vasquez then scored (83') after driving in from the right wing to give Los Blancos a 3-2 lead.

Vinicius Jr. then completed his hat-trick with two more goals (86' and 90+3'), making it 5-2. For his second goal of the night, Vinicius received the ball at the other end of the field before dribbling across the entirety of the pitch. He fired his shot into the bottom corner after cutting in from the left, leaving the Bernabeu in awe.

Vini Jr. joined Los Blancos from the Brazilian side Flamengo in 2018 and quickly rose to become an integral part of the team. In 278 appearances for the club, the Brazilian superstar has recorded 91 goals and 82 assists across competitions. The Selecao star has won two UEFA Champions Leagues, three LaLiga titles and one Copa del Rey with the club.

Vini Jr. is widely considered the favorite to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or on October 28 in Paris. The Brazilian won the Champions League, LaLiga and Supercopa de Espana with the Merengues last season. He recorded 24 goals and 11 assists in 39 appearances for the Spanish outfit across competitions.
